Space 15 Twenty Flea Market

On March 1st Mokuyobi showed off a preview of the new Spring 15 line at a pop up at Urban Outfitter's Space 15 Twenty in Hollywood. It was hosted by Tuesday Bassen and featured a bunch of talented peeps, Penelope Gazin, Tiny Splendor, Hannah Nance, Amber Mc Call, Ben Goetting, and The Little Friends of Printmaking. Fall 15 Preview Shows

Tradeshow season! The two shows I did this time around are NY NOW aka The New York Gift Show Feb 1-4 and Capsule Vegas on February 16-18 both showing Mokuyobi's Fall 2015 season. It was a whole new game for me this time coming from the West coast instead of the East so I had to fly to the New York show just a month after I moved across the country (not to mention it was winter!). But I also got to drive from LA to Vegas which was really beautiful. The desert is a whole new landscape from what I'm used to. Feast your eyes on my set up for the two shows.

Fall Show Season

Show season has finally come to an end. It has been quite an experience since we did 3 shows and all new ones at that: Agenda Long Beach and Agenda New York in July and Capsule Las Vegas in August where Mokuyobi's Spring 2015 line was debuted! It was very exciting making lots more contacts and creating connections with buyers worldwide. Take a look at Mokuyobi's booth set up across the three shows and get excited for Spring '15!

Storefront Launch Party Los Angeles

I had the amazing opportunity to have a booth and sell my wares at Storefront's Los Angeles launch party. It was a great event and so many people came out. It was so fun to get such amazing feedback and love from the west coast. And the neon camp bag made it's debut at the show! (see previous post) Check out the photos from the event!

Also the talented and handsome Mowgli twins stopped by and were amazingly helpful as usual.

There was a two thumbs up theme that night apparently.

Mokuyobi Threads F/W 2014

While I know we're all just starting to gear up for summer (or really any temperature above 50 degrees), retail buyers are already on the prowl for fall merchandise. Mokuyobi recently showed at the NY NOW show in manhattan as well as at POOL Trade show in Vegas for the fall season. I made a super fancy look book this year featuring my friend and doppelgänger, Jessica who literally everyone who came by the booth thought was me in the catalog. Hilarious.
