Custom Mega Backpack
Another satisfied customer. The same person that I made the custom laptop case for was such a fan that she requested another custom item for a trip to Bangkok and Seoul. This time a backpack! But not just any backpack, a custom version of our Mega Backpack with custom colors and pockets. I added a water bottle pocket and an extra 3D front pocket with a space explorer patch detail. There's also a secret front inside pocket for a passport. Check out the sketch vs. the final and scroll down to see her photos of the bag in action accompanied by the Camp Bag!

Horsing Around Paper Cut
For my Dad's birthday I made him a paper cut card of a horse head. He doesn't even especially like horses but picking something random is always the best option when giving someone a gift. It also allowed for a lot of amazing horse puns in the message on the back.
I started with picking my color palette. Good thing I had some good paper color options lying around. Next I cut out big shapes and played a lot with the eyes and eyebrows. A great part about paper cut art is how easy it is to move everything around when you're working. Like a real life version of illustrator but more sticky when it comes to the glue part. Check out all of the in prog photos below!

Brooklyn Goodbye Party
Cue cross country move! Last week I moved from Brooklyn, New York to sunny Los Angeles, California. Warmer days here I come! But I couldn't move without a proper goodbye party! There was a required activity of making your own silly face mask and of course an accompanying photo shoot. Props were used, improvisions were made, and a blast was had by all! Even Teeny Cat got in on the fun!
