Summer Totes & Renegade Brooklyn

This is it!! The moment you've been waiting for!! (well I have) The Renegade Craft Fair Brooklyn is this weekend!! Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 7pm both days in McCarren park. As a last minute addition I made a line of lightweight summer totes. A Brooklyn Renegade exclusive!!! Each of these color blocked totes are one of a kind and perfect for the summer. Come by this weekend and snatch up your favorite while it's still there!!

I also wanted to make a super awesome addition to the booth for this year so I made a quilty plush logo sign. This sign is a very LARGE 35" wide and 23" tall. Previously I just had the name printed on fabric and hung it up, it was pretty lame. This brings it to a whole new dimension, literally. I made the giant speech bubble and sewed in a layer of filling to make it pillow-y. I cut out each letter in cotton and added a fusible to the back so it would fray less. I sewed on each letter which made the sign look like a quilt with certain parts of the plushy "pillowness" sewed flat creating a nice dimensional effect.

Ta-da!!

Come check us out this weekend at booth #176 on Driggs Ave between Lorimer and Union!
The back also looks awesome...

Teeny likes it :-)
